Fresh off its third consecutive Academy of Country Music nomination for Vocal Group of the Year, the Eli Young Band will play Friday, Feb. 7, at Track 29, 1400 Market St. The group -- James Young (guitar), Jon Jones (bass guitar), Mike Eli (vocals, guitar) and Chris Thompson (drums), from left -- has charted eight times on the Billboard country charts, with three singles reaching No. 1: "Crazy Girl," "Even if It Breaks Your Heart" and "Drunk Last Night." New album "10,000 Towns" will be released March 4. Doors open at 8 p.m.; the 18-and-older show starts at 9 p.m. with The Cadillac Three opening.
