The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga men’s basketball game against Western Carolina scheduled for Thursday has been postponed until Friday at 7 p.m.
Administrators from both schools and the Southern Conference want to ensure the safety — while at the game and traveling to and from — of fans, officials, players, and employees necessary to hold a basketball game in McKenzie Arena.
“When weather throws you a curve, you have to fight it off,” said Southern Conference commissioner John Iamarino who has dealt with several schedule adjustments this year. “The level of cooperation between the conference schools has been terrific.”
