The driver who was killed in a collision on state Highway 58 on Wednesday has been identified as Teresa Childs, 58, of Georgetown.

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office said in an news release that Childs was traveling south about 4:30 pm.in her Subaru Forester when the driver of an oncoming Ford F-150 pickup lost control, crossed the line and struck her vehicle.

A passenger in her car as well as the driver and a passenger in the pickup were taken to the hospital with injuries.

Their names were not released Thursday. The investigation continues.
