TBI adds Chattanooga man to Top Ten Most Wanted list

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has added a Chattanooga man to its Top Ten Most Wanted list.

Rodney "Big Head" Jennings Jr., 27, of Chattanooga is wanted by Chattanooga Police and the TBI on one count of first degree murder and one count of unlawful possession of a weapon.

Chattanooga Police identified Jennings as the suspect in a Jan. 28 homicide at 2753 6th Avenue. At around 6:45 p.m. that day, police responded to a person shot call and found Raphael White, 25, with a gunshot wound. He was transported to Erlanger Hospital, where he died. Police are still investigation the motive and circumstances surrounding the incident.

Jennings, who has a criminal history including assault and vandalism, is described by police as an African American male with black hair and brown eyes, about 5'3" tall and weighing around 125 pounds. Jennings last known address is 3316 Delong Street, Chattanooga.

The TBI requests anyone with information on his whereabouts to call 1-800-TBI-FIND. There is a $1,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
