GAINESVILLE, Ga. - A north Georgia woman who pleaded guilty to federal explosives charges is set to be sentenced.

Celia Savage is set to appear before U.S. District Judge Richard Story this afternoon. She pleaded guilty in July to making and possessing pipe bombs that were not registered in the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Registry.

A prosecutor said at the time of her plea that each of the two charges against her carries a potential penalty of up to 10 years in prison, supervised release of three years and a maximum fine of $250,000.

Federal agents raided Savage's home in May 2012 and found two pipe bombs and a number of guns, as well as illegal drug paraphernalia and suspected drugs, according to court documents.
