Election Commission demonstrates new voting machines

The Hamilton County Election Commission is holding an open house from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at its office at 700 River Terminal Road.

Election Administrator Charlotte Mullis-Morgan said the aim is to introduce voters to the commission's new voting machines for some pre-vote training.

There will live demonstrations for the machines, but voters will also be able to register to vote, update their voter information and learn how to vote on an absentee ballot.
