Six area players were selected to play in next week's Tennessee-Kentucky National Guard Border Bowl.
Boyd-Buchanan quarterback Jim Cardwell, Silverdale Baptist defensive linemen Colton Rogers and Lincoln Phillips and the Walker Valley trio of linemen Colton Morrow and Garrett Moore and receicer/defensive backTanner Dillard were picked for the Tennessee team.
East Hamilton coach Ted Gatewood was selected to be an assistant.
The game will be Jan. 11 at 12:35 at the University of the Cumberlands and will be televsied on Fox Sports South.
