LUVERNE, Ala. - Bond has been set at $100,000 for a Troy University student accused of fatally shooting a fellow student at a New Year's Eve party.

Authorities say 19-year-old Taylor Diggers, of Brantley, is charged with manslaughter in 18-year-old freshman Kristen Fuller's death.

The Crenshaw County District Attorney has said alcohol factored into the shooting, but additional details aren't available.

The judge has ordered Driggers to be placed on house arrest if he makes bond. It's unclear if Driggers has an attorney.

Fuller, of Luverne, is the third Troy University student to die in less than a week.

Montgomery police have said 21-year-old Kimberle Johnson was hit by a stray bullet at a bar and grill Dec. 28, and football player, Jadarius Garner, was found dead on a Mississippi highway Thursday morning.
