Portis leads Arkansas to 7th-straight win

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Bobby Portis had 19 points on 8-of-8 shooting as Arkansas won its seventh-straight game with a 104-71 win over Texas-San Antonio on Saturday night.

The winning streak equals the longest under third-year coach Mike Anderson for the Razorbacks (11-2), who open Southeastern Conference play at Texas A&M on Wednesday. Arkansas now has won 23-straight games in Bud Walton Arena.

Portis, the freshman McDonald's All-American, added 10 rebounds and has now scored in double figures in nine-straight games.

Ky Madden had 15 points for the Razorbacks, who committed a season-low seven turnovers while scoring 40 points on 28 turnovers by the Roadrunners. Michael Qualls added 11 points off the bench.

Devon Agusi led Texas-San Antonio (4-9) with 20 points, while Jordan Sims and Hyjii Thomas added 12 points each.
