Man stabbed to death by woman, Chattanooga police say

photo Chattanooga Police were called to a domestic situation that resulted in a man being fatally stabbed.

Chattanooga police continue to investigate a fatal stabbing that took place at College Hill Courts, a Chattanooga Housing Authority development.

Police said the stabbing was domestic related with the male victim, Charles Brown IV, dying as a result of the knife wound.

Monica Delk stabbed her ex-boyfriend in the chest after an argument about 8 p.m. Sunday at 1216 Grove Street Court, a news release said.

Police said they had responded about 6:16 this morning to the address in connection with the stabbing.

Delk was arrested and charged with criminal homicide, police said.

The police department news release said the Department of Children Services was involved in the placement of children at this time and that none of them had been involved nor had witnessed the incident.
