Officials with Chattanooga Housing Authority said they are accepting offers for the 37-acre Harriet Tubman site.

The announcement comes a day after CHA was unable to close on the sale of the former public housing development to Chicago-based Lakewood Realty 3.

In a news release, CHA said it "will consider all responsive and responsible offers for residential use, commercial development and/or economic development."

CHA is using broker Dennis Harris of Brentwood, Tenn.-based Kirkland Company, the news release stated.

The property consists of 440 units in East Chattanooga, TN.

For more information, call Dennis Harris at 615-690-3001 x 223 or dharris@thekirklandcom.com.

Offers will be accepted through Feb. 14.
