Former Chattanooga City Councilwoman Pam Ladd has entered the political fray once again.

Ladd picked up qualifying papers to run against District 4 County Commissioner Warren Mackey for the Democratic nomination in the May 6 primary. Kirkland Robinson has also picked up qualifying papers to seek the Democratic nod. No Republicans have announced for the position.

Ladd is the former chairwoman of the Chattanooga City Council serving in District 3 of the city. She lost the 2013 election to current Councilman Ken Smith. Five city council incumbents were unseated that year.
