Cornerback Tony Brown, one of eight early enrollees in Alabama's heralded 2014 signing class, was arrested Saturday night in Tuscaloosa.

The Tuscaloosa News reported Sunday that Brown was booked on charges of failure to obey and resisting arrest and that he was released after posting bond at $1,500. The paper added that Saban was aware of Brown's arrest and that he would handle the discipline once he had the chance to review all the information.

Brown, a 6-foot, 196-pounder from Beaumont, Texas, is rated the nation's No. 2 cornerback by ESPN and Scout.com and the No. 3 cornerback by Rivals.com. His arrest occurred on a big recruiting weekend at Alabama in which Saban was filmed performing the electric slide and new Crimson Tide offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin reportedly sang "Sweet Home Alabama" with the mother of tailback commitment Bo Scarbrough.
