Stefan Schuller picked as quality executive for VW

Volkswagen Group of America on Monday selected Stefan Schüller as executive vice president of group quality.

He will replace Mark Trahan, who is retiring after 35 years with the company.

Schüller, 52, will oversee vehicle quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction for Volkswagen and Audi in the United States.

He has more than 20 years of technical and leadership experience within the Volkswagen Group, including his most recent roles with Audi AG.

The native of Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, earned bachelor's and master's of science degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Hannover.
