A man was killed Saturday when his motorcycle hit an SUV on Cummings Highway, according to Chattanooga police.
Traffic investigators discovered that a motorcyclist was traveling north on Cummings Highway when he lost control and struck a passing vehicle. The rider, Benjamin Vines III, was pronounced dead on the scene, police said.
The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
