Authorities have recovered a body on Old Hickory Lake in Sumner County on Friday afternoon.

An unidentified male was recovered by authorities just after 4 p.m., said Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency spokesman Doug Markham.

Preliminary information indicates the male was on a floating device when he tried to move onto a personal watercraft and was struck by it, Markham said.
