Knox County woman finds drunken teen passed out in her closet

KNOXVILLE — A homeless teenager was sobering up in jail Wednesday morning after a woman found him passed out drunk in the closet of her East Knox County home overnight, authorities said.

The 47-year-old resident told deputies she was putting away laundry about 2 a.m. when she found 18-year-old Andrew Davison asleep in a closet, according to a Knox County Sheriff’s Office arrest report.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to the home in the 6300 block of Millertown Pike to find Davison with bloodshot, watery eyes, reeking of alcohol and unsteady on his feet, the report states.
