The Rant

Got something on your mind? Tell us about it in 25 words or fewer.

President Obama goes to Texas not to check the border but to pick up a check.

How can you reform the VA when you can’t fire those responsible for the situation?

We need a congress-man who will work with other members of Congress, not an ideologue who causes gridlock and shut-downs. Vote for Weston Wamp.

Sorry, we don’t need Doogie Houser representing the 3rd District. We need somebody there who has had a job and is not an incumbent’s legacy.

Rhonda Thurman declares: “There’s no free lunch” and votes to make it so. Political dogmas need to stop at the bellies of hungry children.

Often I see signs on the highway that say, “Slower traffic keep right.” What’s so hard to understand about that?

Ron Hart wrote another bold piece on all the Republicans being prosecuted by Obama. I defy libs to match that list — and his humor.

Doctors can say what they want, but I’ll eat bacon till they run out of pigs!

The U.S. is out of the World Cup. Can we please go back to watching “Bonanza,” something we understand?

Is somebody really crying about what order the Sports (section) is in?

First the turn signal and then the brakes. First the turn signal and then change lanes.
