Mourners line up for John Seigenthaler funeral

The line to get into the Cathedral of the Incarnate has formed out front on West End Avenue, full of mourners who wish to pay their last respects to former Tennessean editor John Seigenthaler.

Among them: former Speaker of the House Jimmy Naifeh, who remembers Mr. Seigenthaler as the consummate storyteller.

He said the two had lunch in Gatlinburg just a month ago, at a "former leaders luncheon" Naifeh puts on with Jim Henry, head of the Department of Children's Services.
