Hamilton County Commissioners voted today to pay $20,000 to Brandon Carter after a his car was struck by a county vehicle last year.

According to a resolution passed today, Carter was driving on Adams Road on Sept. 3, 2013, when a county parks and recreation vehicle driving on Hixson Pike collided with his car.

The settlement, which the county is paying through its self-insurance program, will reportedly go toward paying for Carter's injuries.
