U.S. Rep. Chuck Fleischmann has kept his fundraising lead over primary challenger Weston Wamp, according to second quarter campaign finance reports.
Reports show Fleischmann has added $268,000 to the $640,000 he started the quarter with, and after spending he's got $702,000 on hand ahead of the Aug. 7 primary.
Wamp, who started the quarter with $373,000, added $160,000 from April through June. After spending about $108,000, he has $425,000 on hand.
