This is the immigration policy some wish we had. Thankfully, it's nowhere near that bad, but the fact is that most are eventually deported, after a long period of time.

July 16, 2014 at 12:06 a.m.

Very weak piece of propaganda. Nothing wrong with our immigration policy. Just because it's not fast enough for BO and the hundreds of thousands of illegal alien invaders who have respect for our laws and our country.

Nothing wrong with our immigration system.

There is something terribly wrong with our borders.

I hope the protests grow larger and larger and larger.

How about depicting them flying into this country, and TSA agents looking the other way as the fly to other place in the US, and get dumped secretly into states who aren't informed?

This is orchestrated by BO, Mexico and the various Central American crap holes they call countries.

As Ted Rall explained in his recent op-ed, this crisis is noting but blowback from decades of CIA meddling on behalf of American corporate rape of Central American countries...

PART ONE -

"If you're reading this, you probably follow the news. So you've probably heard of the latest iteration of the "crisis at the border": tens of thousands of children, many of them unaccompanied by an adult, crossing the desert from Mexico into the United States, where they surrender to the Border Patrol in hope of being allowed to remain here permanently. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's detention and hearing system has been overwhelmed by the surge of children and, in some cases, their parents. The Obama Administration has asked Congress to approve new funding to speed up processing and deportations of these illegal immigrants.

Even if you've followed this story closely, you probably haven't heard the depressing backstory — the reason so many Central Americans are sending their children on a dangerous thousand-mile journey up the spine of Mexico, where they ride atop freight trains, endure shakedowns by corrupt police and face rapists, bandits and other predators. (For a sense of what it's like, check out the excellent 2004 film "Maria Full of Grace.")

NPR and other mainstream news outlets are parroting the White House, which blames unscrupulous "coyotes" (human smugglers) for "lying to parents, telling them that if they put their kids in the hands of traffickers and get to the United States that they will be able to stay." True: the coyotes are saying that in order to gin up business. Also true: U.S. law has changed, and many of these kids have a strong legal case for asylum. Unfortunately, U.S. officials are ignoring the law.

The sad truth is that this "crisis at the border" is yet another example of "blowback."

Blowback is an unintended negative consequence of U.S. political, military and/or economic intervention overseas — when something we did in the past comes back to bite us in the ass. 9/11 is the classic example; arming and funding radical Islamists in the Middle East and South Asia who were less grateful for our help than angry at the U.S.' simultaneous backing for oppressive governments (The House of Saud, Saddam, Assad, etc.) in the region.

More recent cases include U.S. support for Islamist insurgents in Libya and Syria, which destabilized both countries and led to the murders of U.S. consular officials in Benghazi, and the rise of ISIS, the guerilla army that imperils the U.S.-backed Maliki regime in Baghdad, respectively.

Confusing the issue for casual American news consumers is that the current border crisis doesn't involve the usual Mexicans traveling north in search of work. Instead, we're talking about people from Central American nations devastated by a century of American colonialism and imperialism, much of that intervention surprisingly recent. Central American refugees are merely transiting through Mexico."

PART TWO -

"The unaccompanied children crossing the border into the United States are leaving behind mainly three Central American countries, Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala. The first two are among the world's most violent and all three have deep poverty, according to a Pew Research report based on Department of Homeland Security (DHS) information," reports NBC News. "El Salvador ranked second in terms of homicides in Latin America in 2011, and it is still high on the list. Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador are among the poorest nations in Latin America. Thirty percent of Hondurans, 17 percent of Salvadorans and 26 percent of Guatemalans live on less than $2 a day."

The fact that Honduras is the biggest source of the exodus jumped out at me. That's because, in 2009, the United States government — under President Obama — tacitly supported a military coup that overthrew the democratically elected president of Honduras.

"Washington has a very close relationship with the Honduran military, which goes back decades," The Guardian noted at the time. "During the 1980s, the US used bases in Honduras to train and arm the Contras, Nicaraguan paramilitaries who became known for their atrocities in their war against the Sandinista government in neighbouring Nicaragua."

Honduras wasn't paradise under President Manuel Zelaya. Since the coup, however, the country has entered a downward death spiral of drug-related bloodshed and political revenge killings that crashed the economy, brought an end to law, order and civil society, and now has some analysts calling it a "failed state" along the lines of Somalia and Afghanistan during the 1990s.

"Zelaya's overthrow created a vacuum in security in which military and police were now focused more on political protest, and also led to a freeze in international aid that markedly worsened socio-economic conditions," Mark Ungar, professor of political science at Brooklyn College and the City University of New York, told The International Business Times. "The 2009 coup, asserts [Tulane] professor Aaron Schneider, gave the Honduran military more political and economic leverage, at the same time as the state and political elites lost their legitimacy, resources and the capacity to govern large parts of the country."

Fister, you really don't pay attention other then the anti-Obama cheerleading. When you were on your rant yesterday on the "Crossblue" cartoon about the Central American immigrants, I posted this:

"The young immigrants coming to the US from Central America can't just be turned away thanks to the William Wilberforce Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act. This Act was signed into law on December 23, 2008 by then President Bush and it prevents children from Central America to be returned without first appearing in front of an immigration judge which usually requires months. Obama wants to rewrite the law to shorten the period of time so they can be returned in a week. He is facing opposition from house democrats.

So Fister, please explain how is wanting "to change the demographics" if he is wanting to expedite the return of these immigrants? How is Obama the "criminal" when the Central American child immigrants are flooding the border thanks to a Republican Act?"

So it's "orchestrated by BO", but the immigrants are using a law signed by Bush? I guess BO initiated his evil plan before he ever got in office.

You really need to get out more.

All the correcting in the world has not impacted their thinking one bit in five years.

The bottom line is that anything posted in this forum is not going to change a thing for anybody. No politician's campaign is going to be made or broke by a thing written in this forum.

No one's vote will likely change as a result of anything that one reads in this forum.

The most obvious and direct cause of the flood of children from Central America is the 2008 human trafficking law (signed by GWB) that ended the rapid deportation of unaccompanied minors who come illegally from countries other than Mexico and Canada. The law essentially guarantees long stays for these immigrants by promising them a deportation process that can take 18 months, during which time they are often placed with family members who have little incentive to have the kids show up for hearings. The law, which cleared both houses of Congress by unanimous consent and was signed by George W. Bush in his final days in office, was bipartisan and well intentioned — but it was exploited by the very traffickers it was meant to target, who encouraged this huge emigration of children from Central America. So, President Obama is following the law and the republicans don’t even know what the laws are. Typical know-nothing morons.

July 16, 2014 at 7:47 a.m.

GWB was irresponsible on our border. He also made some irresponsible statements, one even bizarre, he said something related to us being one nation with Mexico or something to that affect. Ridiculous.

BO is completely out of control with this, and lawless.

We know they're coming, we see them coming, we know what countries are sending them here, and they are being sent, yet we just let it happen. This is not just some illegals sneaking across at night, they're flying in, driving in, being dropped off by jet skis, traveling by train, truck, car, etc.

There's going to be big backlash because of BO's brazen disregard for Americans who are struggling under BO's economy.

You can toss all the racist card nonsense around all you want, the more you do it the more ridiculous you come across. Just like that jackass Holder who tosses out the race card every time he opens his mouth. This country is very accepting, and has been full of immigrants from everywhere and has been for long time.

This has nothing to do with race and has everything to do with an irresponsible and lawless POTUS and his allowing a crisis to fester so he, and his party, can gain from it politically. It doesn't matter that he has only two years left.

This invasion is a completely in-your-face situation by BO, Mexico, and the other Central American countries. It's a slap in the face to the citizens of this country who are struggling, millions of them.

It's stupidly easy to just accuse everyone of racism who is not happy with his. But that's typical of the left.

These countries and Mexico know that if they keep dumping "the children"(most of them are not children) at our border that the media and the race card bunch will portray anyone who stands up against this as racist.

You libs on here are pathetic. You think by accusing me or anyone else on here of being racist, homophobes, or xenophobes that we're supposed to run for the hills. Hillarious.

Once again, If you're ok with this invasion, then you should be ok with some home invader breaking into your home and declaring it their home as well. There is no difference.

July 16, 2014 at 8:03 a.m.

There is no doubt that GWB is responsible for this as well, as well as any Dem, or Republican who agreed with any laws leading up to this. But BO is allowing our borders to be overrun, and he's using it to gain from it politically.

The issue is our borders are being overrun. The laws regarding deportation or anything else are a separate issue. Our borders are being overrun, period. That's not acceptable in any country.

There is nothing that makes it acceptable to have our borders overrun, nothing. The governments first duty is to protect it's citizens and defend the borders. It's not being done. What happens to them when they get here is one thing, but they shouldn't be able to just break in.

There goes Bleeder again - ranting in semi-conscious ignorance about our borders being "overrun" ..... by children. Many of them come from Guatemala which has a similar backstory to that of Honduras. Chris Floyd wrote about it recently when the world was remembering D-Day:

"But this week saw the anniversary of another major turning point in modern history, a campaign that became — and remains — the enduring template of foreign policy for the world’s most powerful nation. We speak, of course, of the 60th anniversary of Washington’s “regime change” operation in Guatemala, overthrowing a democratically elected government.

It was not the first such American "intervention," of course (and was preceded in the previous year by a more indirect role in overthrowing democracy in Iran), but it set in train more than six decades of violent attacks on democracy by the "leader of the free world." (A fine tradition carried on by Barack Obama in Honduras.)

In fact, a hatred of democracy — a genuine, visceral revulsion at the idea of people choosing their own leaders and their own form of society — has been a driving force in American foreign policy for generations. Democracy and freedom are only allowed if they lead to outcomes that advance whatever the agenda of the American elite happens to be at any given time. They hate democracy abroad; they hate it at home; they hate it everywhere, all the time. The historical record is remarkably consistent on this point."

The Guatemala regime change was noted at the London Review of Books in an article by John Perry:

"Over ten days in June 1954, a decade after the D-Day landings, the CIA sent twelve planes to drop bombs and propaganda on towns in Guatemala in support of a coup against the elected government of Jácobo Arbenz ..."

"Guatemala was one of the first countries in the region to emerge from military dictatorship. Arbenz was the second democratic president, elected in 1951 with 65 per cent of the vote. A strongly nationalist military officer, he was convinced that the central problem in a mainly agricultural country was land: 70 per cent of it in the hands of only 2 per cent of the population, of which only a quarter was being cultivated. In 1953 he decreed the takeover of more than 200,000 acres of unused land belonging to the United Fruit Company. The company responded with a propaganda campaign to convince Eisenhower not to be ‘soft on communism’."

Yep - Arbenz's efforts to raise his people out of poverty and promoting the concept that his country's land belonged to his country's people brought the full weight of American imperialism and corporate-backed CIA subversion down on them, too.

Actually they are not breaking in. They walk, ride or swim in and have been taught the right words to say to have asylum apply. It is evident no one in Washington D.C. is anxious to do anything to address the crisis due primarily to their not being sure what the most politically popular thing would be. The priority of country protection has deteriorated drastically in the past 5 years and will at some point yield bad results. However, Americans do not want to hear that and are in denial, it doesn't fit their image of what should be.

Most people that are not personally affected and as long as their personal government dole is not reduced think it is a good thing for the U.S. to support any person in the world in the manner in which they are supported by the U.S. government. Many have not a clue where the money for their support comes from but are sure they are entitled to it and more.

"Christian approach to immigration" LOL First of all, this in not immigration it's breaking and entering, it's an invasion.

So in order to be a Christian you have to be ok with not respecting boundaries, and be ok with lawlessness?

It's you libs who are faux Christians. You're ok with BO exploiting these people for political gain, because you have the same political philosophy, while he sticks it to citizens and those in this country who are struggling.

Your never ending mantra of racism and xenophobia directed at those who don't like our borders falling apart is not working. It only makes you like Eric Holder, a complete jackass.

My gosh liberalism is a disease.

You don't have facts, history, logic or common sense on your side, you only your slavish loyalty to a stupid demagogue and his self destructive agenda.

Once again, now read carefully, if you don't object to these illegal alien invaders breaking into our country and not respecting our laws, then it would be illogical for you to object to a home invader breaking into your home and deciding that he wants to live in your home permanently.

Let that sink in.

What's "perverse" is your exploitation of these people, and the harm it's doing to the US citizens in this country who are struggling, so you can gain from it politically.

It's about benefiting politically from the chaos.

Once again, if you're OK with illegal alien invaders overrunning our borders and declaring it their home, then logically you have to be OK with a home invader breaking into your home and declaring it his home as well.

You pick and choose the teachings of Christ that back your agenda. You libs are transparent.

It is simple, this is our country. We can let as many people as we want legally into this country. This is a process. The illegal aliens are not invited. Children or not, they either need to be sent back or not to come at all.

Liberals and democrats are so "sympathetic" because these aliens will someday become citizens and they will likely vote for democrats. If they were white and from central Europe the libs would go nuts.

The notion that the border is controlled that is being said by liberals on this site makes me think they are delusional. Our border is a sieve and when some of the Muslim terrorists coming across blow something up and kill hundreds, you libs and democrats will go into political oblivion. You people seem to be clued into the fact that they will vote a certain way, but you always seem to be clueless why that is.

Republicans have nothing to offer, and don't offer, a thing to anyone who does not earn great amounts of money. These are the only people the Republicans cater to, and it's been that way for quite sometime.

Let us not forget that Republicans spend a great deal of time trying to stop all abortions in this nation, which will never happen.

Republicans, for the most part, want to infuse religion into every facet of our lives.

Timbo, you're definitely repeating something that Republican sympathizers whine about constantly, but you're not offering anything that makes sense.

Racial hatred exists or it doesn't. You cannot make it up. People are not that stupid. Look at the comments in this very forum. Every time an issue surrounding a non-Caucasian race of people is raised, the closeted bigots raise their furry little heads.

"Minorities are just used by democrats and are basically "warehoused" being poor and without jobs until democrats need their votes."

No offense, but that is just about the stupidest comment I have ever read from a Republican cheerleader. What does it even mean?

"Then the drum up some racial boogie man and make promises they never keep to get them to vote."

If it were remotely the way you claim it is, then you would think that the Republicans could make their case and woo them over to their side. After all, the Republicans do a fine job of showing compassion to all of their constituents, right?

Good God man, you really need to unstick your head from the sand and breath some fresh air once in awhile.

You are literally brainwashed.

"No reason why we can't fly them back. Give them some help then fly them back to their respective countries. Instead we fly them around the country and dump them in states without informing the governors. BO, "the knockout game" president, loves it."

Yes there is a "reason". I have posted it twice for you. Wallyworld reposted it. The law that Bush signed into law in 2008 (with Republican support) stipulates that children from Central America cannot be sent back without first receiving a hearing from an immigration judge. This takes several months. It is currently AGAINST THE LAW to simply turn away children from Central America. THIS WAS BUSH'S LAW, Obama is now trying to modify the law so they can be sent back within a week. You are ignorant. And as I have said in the past, you blame anything on Obama. This has nothing to do with Obama, blame your own party dipsh!t.

July 16, 2014 at 4:43 p.m.

The issue is our border is being overrun NOW. Who is president now? The current border crisis is on BO's watch. They shouldn't be crossing the border period. If they don't cross the border from Mexico then it's not an issue. Yeah, it's all "children". Sure, like the one who just committed a murder in Texas, and the Mexican gang members recruiting on our soil?

If they don't enter US soil there is no issue.

July 16, 2014 at 4:49 p.m.

If they can't cross the border into our country then there's no issue. That's why nations defend their borders. So, what do we do? We encourage them to come in illegally. "doors are open"

Oh, yeah, God bless him, he's trying so hard to deport and defend our borders. Meanwhile, while this crisis festers, he'll go to Martha's Vineyard and do what he does best, play lousy golf.

Why doesn't he tell his wife to not make speeches encouraging illegal aliens to invade, or tell a-holes like John Lewis and Louis Gutierez, congressman both, to not encourage them? Why does BO embolden them with idiotic speeches which glorify and elevate them over everyone else.

BO wants this situation.

Bush was did a lot of damage, but BO is piling on.

July 16, 2014 at 4:57 p.m.

They're flying into the country. They're not just wading across the Rio Grande. This is orchestrated. Bad laws or not, this is an invasion. If BO wanted to stop this he could. Mexico is making it easy for central Americans to cross their country to our border. They could stop that. It's orchestrated. BO owns this.

There has been many stories of abuse, sexual and others, taking place at ICE detention centers around the nation. That alone should be enough to want a solution. As the longer individuals are held at these detention centers the more the situation will deteriorate than they already have. Surely, this concern is on the mind of the president and others looking to speed up detention hearings. The GOP claims they want solutions. Then they block every effort to solve problems. Then they whine as if they truly care. In reality, they don't give a damn about these children or even fellow Americans they're firing up. The only things they're good at are starting wars with no end, dividing the masses and making them fight against one another. Whether abroad or at home. Today's GOP is not the party of Lincoln. Nor even Reagan for that matter.

You don't read or listen very well. As I said earlier (this makes the third time) BO is trying to modify the Act to shorten the amount of time the children stay here. If your delusions of grandeur were correct, why would he worry about the modifying the law? He is working with Republicans on the modification. Does that ever cross you mind? Why do you continue to ignore why this problem exists in the first place?

July 16, 2014 at 6:39 p.m.

Look at you, Guass, getting all hot and bothered!

And I like I said BO has no problem using his pen and phone to do what he wants. Now he respects the laws on the books? He's Mr. Extra legal and Mr. Unconstitutional. Now he's not anymore?

If he wanted to, and you know it, he could find a way to fly them back to their respective countries.

I never said Bush is blameless, but BO is taken advantage of this...no doubt.

Oh, he's working hard to modify it, in the meantime our borders our being overrun.

Now he cares about the laws on the books. LOL

Laughable.

Z fister you are without a doubt the most weak-minded person I have ever witnessed on a public forum and believe me I have posted on forums like this one since they created public message boards. Twice people have explained to you the law passed and signed by George W. Bush that allows for these children to cross the border and come to the U.S. but it's like talking to a circus chimp you've only been taught one thing and that's to blame President Obama for anything that goes wrong in the world no matter where it is or who or what caused it. I almost feel sorry for you since you operate from such a low level of comprehension.

However, any pity I feel for you quickly dissipates when I read your "plantation" comments regarding African American voting patterns. You see everything you write about African Americans not being willing to "leave the plantation " was just shot to hell and back in the Republican primary in Mississippi about two weeks ago. There African American voters could have chosen not to participate in the Repub primary but instead they got up went to the polls and said it's better for us to have Thad Cochran representing Mississippi than the Teabaggger McDaniel. As the saying goes better the devil you know than the one you don't know. Now teabaggers want to challenge the fact African Americans voted in an OPEN primary. It appears any candidate African Americans vote for is going to be considered by teabaggers to be illegitimate whether it's an African American Democratic candidate for President or a Republican incumbent from Mississippi.

So you see when they do leave the "plantation" as you put it, they still get criticized from the likes of the ignorant like yourself.

How brilliant our leaders are. They say illegals will do the work our dependent and government supported citizens won't do. However, they bring 1,000s in to attend and graduate from U.S. universities and colleges but will not allow them to stay and do those jobs Americans can't do. There is a shortage of technical talent but those that could do those jobs must return to their country and compete with America.

American's can and will do carpenter work, roofing, painting, landscaping, electrical, auto detailing, etc. etc. however, illegals are taking those jobs and leaving American's unemployed. The penalty for those employing an illegal or doing business with them is not severe enough. The penalty should be severe enough to deter all but the most foolish.

fairmon, its not that Americans won't do the work. With so many Americans having criminal records and employers refusing to hire Americans with criminal records, most Americans have become unemployable by employer standards and rules. For a *free nation, america has some of the most oppressive, life altering laws that can negatively impact it citizens of any developed nations. Especially when being denied the most basic means an individual has to sustain him/herself and survive.

I know this to be true from the many times I've sent people to apply for jobs I thought they qualify and they were turned away for no other reason than having an arrest record, even a small one. One individual, Iraqi war vet, was turned down for an airport job because of a small shoplifting charge she was duped into pleading guilty as a teen when she was out with another person and unbeknown to her the individual was caught stealing, and because they had been together, my client was charge too. Now, that charge didn't prevent her from entering the military, being sent to a war zone and possibly getting killed serving her country. But it did prevent her from working at a tennessee airport. She actually eventually moved away and is now thriving in another working for the federal government. No other country, even undeveloped ones, cripple its citizens in such away. That's why even if they've committed crimes in their native countries they can still come to america and qualify for jobs Americans can't, because their records don't follow them the way a criminal record will follow Americans.

The fact is most "Americans" will not work as hard, under such trying conditions, or have as much sense of obligation to family that they will travel 1,000's of miles to work while sleeping in tents and hollowed out, cardboard lined dugouts in clay canyons, risk illness with no access to medical care, risk being stiffed by the employer who refuses to pay them, or pays them half the minimum wage (who can they complain to) all to save enough money to send back home to family, or to buy a house in the US. If half you Reds had that work ethic, I'd be willing to listen to you, but then you would have an entirely different view of "illegal immigration." That is the plight of most illegal immigrants.

The knuckleheads who smuggle in dope are going to do that no matter how hard we try to stop them because Americans are big consumers.

You guys need to get a life. I know building contractors in Atlanta who simply get out of the business because they cannot recruit good old Americans to do the work. Do not kid yourself fairmon. You know as well as I do that the Americans with the minimal education in these parts who would work for that kind of job would rather be cooking meth. nobody is leaving Americans unemployed. By the way, the unemployment rate is the lower now that when President Obama took office. I assume the Reds will find a way to take credit away from him for that.

I do pay the assisted living facility and other expenses for a parent. I do assist monthly a disabled cousin with their living expenses. I am not proud of that fact nor is it the way I want things, but it has become necessary for me to do so.

All these billionaires who kiss up to BO and have no problem with this invasion like Buffett, Zuckerberg, Oprah, Adelson, Gates and a bunch of others, could easily feed, house and take care all of these illegal alien invaders and not even make a dent in what they have.

But, no, they want them far away from where they are in communities with average hard working Americans, and force them to deal with the issues.

Yeah, inq, the unemployment rate is lower because 90 million people have basically given up on looking for work. The black unemployment rate is 10.9%, and it's 38% for young blacks.

Just get conservatives elected and let them bitch.

Timbo and z fister if your predictions are about as good as they were in 2012 when you predicted President Obama would lose then the Dems don't have anything to worry about. In fact, even if by some weird chance the Repubs do manage to win the Senate it won't make any difference at all because the Dems can do to them exactly the same thing they have done and if you think you have a chane at the White House in 2016 that's not going to happen should Hillary decide to run, then not only will the Dems take back the Senate but the House of Representatives as well. Hillary will have the opportunity to appoint at least two or more Justices to the SCOTUS. Teabaggers will become just a bad memory for Repubs that will lose it all.. The Repubs will be like the Whig Party and they won't have anyone to blame but themselves for allowing a bunch of losers to infiltrate their party like ants, hard to get rid of once they get into the foundation. LOL

That's o.k. LOL because once he's gone you can start your count down for Hillary's next EIGHT years if your counter goes that far.should she decide to run. Instead of hope & change, Hillary's could be hope became change.

ibshame....That was past...the full affect of old Barry hadn't been felt. He is on an express train to the all-time approval low.

Your delusion is just what I am talking about..you guys need to step back from this and be objective. I am not talking about philosophy or party, I am talking about political reality. No matter what I think or you think of his job..the American people are not happy and see him as incompetent.

I think that some wise democrats are seeing his flaws and the affect he will have on both the 2014 congressional elections and the 2016 elections. Democrat candidates are running away from him as fast as they can.

Your analysis is devoid of any rational thought. It goes against almost all political commentators, right or left. As far as Hillary goes, she was just as far ahead of her democrat and Republican challengers in 2008. We all know what happened then. She wears thin the more of her you see. 2014 is over already, you can kiss the house and senate good-bye, but 2016 is more of a crap shoot as far as the presidential race goes.

Try to come up with an original thought instead of parroting the latest MSNBC rhetoric.

timbo and z-fister are copying the ostrich cartoon. They are clueless and do not recognize, or refuse to accept the fact that the world and the US is changing. I would be surprised to see another modern president match bush the younger's low ratings, and would be surprised not to see a second term president's numbers drop.

Too bad we can't get Bill Clinton back, the last time in modern history we ran a budget surplus, but the deficit has shrunk the whole time President Obama has had the honor to serve us, in spite of his few screw ups (NSA spy program, not getting out of Iraq/Afghanistan fast enough, not closing Gitmo ASAP).

What he has accomplished is remarkable since the Reds are acting like ill-mannered child brats and refusing to vote or approve any thing he proposes without even evaluating it. They are prejudiced against him. There are probably several Democrats who could be as good or better a President than President Obama, why do you mention race, timbo, to validate your racist view hoping you will get one of your well-behaved uncle tom's in office?

Timbo See people like you mislead others. Just as in 2012 against all of the predictions of the little people like yourself along with the Turdblossom Roves, Dick Morris, Donald Trump and of course Faux News you all had President Obama packing his things to leave in Jan. 2013. In fact, Mitt Romney's family had been so misled his wife had actually started planning how she was going to redecorate the White House along with the big celebration bash they planned for Mittens. You and the rest were WRONG, WRONG, WRONG and you're wrong now. 2014 is not over yet. That's the problem with predictors like yourself, you count your chickens long before they have been hatched and it comes back to bite you EVERY TIME. President Obama has made your group look like fools since the day he walked into the White House and when you have nutjobs like Boehner suing the President for doing his job it only makes your group look even more foolish especially when the court throws it out. Hillary was never as far ahead as you and those like you would have people believe and the reason for that is the vote she ill-advisely took for the start of the war in Iraq. If she runs, she will win and there won't be anything Repubs can do to stop it.

Here's a test of how well you can predict things, according to a post you made not too long ago, you predicted Rhonda Thurman would win by 1,000 votes in the District One race for County Commission. If that happens then maybe people can give some credence to your predictions, if it doesn't then you are just like all the rest, not a clue as to how people really vote once they get behind the closed curtains. LOL

"the world and the US are changing" DUH! We've been changing since day one. Immigrants have been changing this country for a long, long time. No matter what you say, or what BO inspired propaganda you spew, it will not make this border invasion situation look any better. BO is looking really, really, really bad in this. You cannot put a positive spin on this illegal alien invasion. Our country is nothing like it used to be a couple of hundred years ago, as far as the make up of the people. This has nothing to do with change, morons, it's flooding our country practically overnight with illegal aliens so our dear leader and all the other politicos, GOP included, can gain from it politically.

Pull your dumb, knee jerk race card all you want, it has zero affect. It only makes you look like idiots.

Your imbecilic portrayal of the conservatives on here as some kind of backward, kkk supporting, white lunatics is laughable. Nobody buys it no matter how often you toss it out there.

This is a diverse country already, and has been for a long time. This has nothing to do with change, it has everything to do with lawlessness, corruption and spitting in the face of US citizens.

You're not fooling anybody. I've seen several vids of angry black Americans spouting off against BO because of his orchestrated moves on the border.

BO's actions on this will come back to haunt him. Deal with it.

You really think so? Most Americans are smarter, not naive and don't spend all their waking hours listening to faux news, rush limPbaugh. They actually take time and do their research.

As for the backlash you expect against the president, if that even remotely be the case it will most certainly come from some ill-informed right wingnutjob(s) who've drank too much of that poisin /hate kool-aide the right has been spewing since President Obama took office from day 1. The only president in the history of america to have received more threats than any sitting president. Not even Lincoln received as many.

You're clearly not in tune with the current polls and projections.

Democrats are out-raising Republicans. Conservatives are not doing well at all, and it looks like the Senate will remain in Democrat control, with the House picking up seats for the Democrats.

For the first time in years, Georgia is not solid red. It may elect a Democrat for Senator this fall.

I know some of you are salivating, in the belief that the Republicans are going to win both House this fall, and it is nothing but a pipe dream.

It will never happen.

The November winners will actually be the losers longer term. Looking at the issues and the mess this incompetent POTUS and cronies will leave will drowned anyone or any party that has to deal with it. History is a foreign language to American voters and we are going the same route of past dynasties. Go to any mall and select those aged 20 and over and ask them who their senator is, who represents them in the house, who is the VP, who is the AG, Who is speaker of the house, who is the leader of the senate, who is the secretary of defense, then ask them a curve ball question like what do you think of Obama's plan to bomb Syria. You will then understand why those elected are in office.

Fellows,

Same old CRAP, just another day… Swear to god I left here two or three cartoons ago and it was the same useless, destructive and politically biased propaganda.

By the way, while you are distracted by this border crisis (useless Spics), a passenger jet got shot out of the sky (who cares about Chinamen, anyway), Israel’s (mostly Kikes) occupation and constant belittling of a native people (those Towelheads) is about to fuel a regional conflict that will have repercussions for decades. A family was massacred in TX (looked like a cracker to me), a dad let his baby bake in a car (worried about abortion?), about million killings in the Chattanooga area to date (mostly Negroes, so no one really cares) and you still have the audacity to bitch about a huge VW investment (UAW and tax credits).

What do you really want? Most southerners I know speak clearly and frankly. Do you want to solve a humanitarian crisis on the border or just kill them all? We will not take them in Mexico – we have people dying every day.

You guys really think libertarians, conservatives and democrats (USA) can settle these issues standing alone? The Americas must stand together to fight off these challenges for there will come a time that distance, threats and armchair military tactics will no longer protect these two precious continents!

“Keep it up, roll up yur sleeves and git at yur guns for y’all ain’t gonna haf’ta wait too long fer ya answers.”

That threat will come from closer than you can imagine and that you so-called Christians may come to understand - Jesus knew the traitor was from within...

Landgrabbr, I think your rhetorical question went over their heads.

Z-fister sez, "The black unemployment rate is 10.9%, and it's 38% for young blacks." I don't know the exact number but I am Z, what compassionate acts are you doing to remediate that problem? I also know a lot of the lost work force are baby boomers who decided it is time to retire. Show us the data on "quite and not looking because it is too hard to find a job" folks to support your claims.

Your compassionate solution is cutting taxes, reducing ACA, and reducing Tn-care???? Oh and throw in a few Guatemalan kids. A (loose) quote keeps coming to mind, "Honor the alien in your land for you were once aliens in the land of Egypt suffering under the iron fist of Pharaoh."

Well, a recent study for all you blind guide Reds, on climate change, one of your pet peeves, from todayy's Science mag: "Measuring sea ice through thick and thin H. Jesse SmithSea ice in the Arctic's Fram Straight is only half as thick as it was a decade ago, Renner and colleagues report. Measuring ice both at the surface and from the air with an instrument towed below a helicopter, they found that the ice in that region thinned by more than 50% between 2003 and 2012. The patterns of variability that they see most likely are caused by thinning occurring more broadly across the Arctic, rather than being just a regional effect. These observations are consistent with the contemporaneous reduction of the area covered by sea ice that has occurred in the Arctic and should help provide a better understanding of both the magnitude and the causes of the loss.

Definitely a liberal plot to subvert democracy.

Jack Dennis writes World burns but fundraising goes on. Would that be the same as Bush playing golf and telling the media he wasn't worried about finding Osama Bin Laden, the man who actually funded the terrorists of 911? See for every criticism you throw out there concerning President Obama there is ALWAYS something worse from his predecessor.

. In fact, the majority of the bullsh!t mess the President has had to clean up was because of that incompetant idiot Bush. The Middle East is a clusterf*ck because of Bush's invasion of Iraq, the border crisis is the result of a law Bush signed protecting the children from being sent back to Central America, the economy of the U.S. was damn near destroyed because of the TRILLIONS spent on his war of choice, the VA was overwhelmed with the number of maimed and injured soldiers returning from Bush's war ,so they just broke down altogether. The list could go on but there is no use. Maybe that's why Bush has kept his mouth closed. He knows the mountain of sh!t he left behind for someone else to have to clean up and he knows that thanks to gutless, cowardly Repubs the President has had to clean it up without any help from them.
