KNOXVILLE — Knox County court officers subdued a belligerent man Thursday with the assistance of an electric stun gun.

Ricky A. Davis Sr., 46, of Knoxville was in the criminal courtroom to watch proceedings against his son, according to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.

At about 10 a.m., Davis “became belligerent, shouting and cursing and refused to leave” the courtroom, the Sheriff’s Office news release states.
