Chattanooga Lookouts lose 7-2 to Mobile BayBears

MOBILE, Ala. - Mobile starting pitcher Bradin Hagens held Chattanooga scoreless through seven innings Thursday night as the BayBears defeated the Lookouts for the second time in as many nights, this time 7-2.

The BayBears took a 3-0 lead in the first inning with RBI singles by Jake Lamb and Zach Borenstein and a wild pitch by Matt Shelton that scored Lamb. Mobile built a 5-0 lead until Noel Cuevas hit a two-run homer off Hagens in the eighth.

The Lookouts dropped to their worst record of the Southern League's second half (10-17) and their worst record overall (36-61).

Game three of the five-game series is tonight at 8:05 EDT. Chris Reed (4-6, 3.20 ERA) is the scheduled starting pitcher for the Lookouts, with Archie Bradley (1-0, 1.47) scheduled for the BayBears.
