2 injured when car crashes into Cleveland store

A 77-year-old woman and her 79-year-old passenger had minor injuries this afternoon when their car crashed into Habitat for Humanity's ReStore, Cleveland, Tenn., police said.

Betty Rutledge was driving her 1999 Nissan Altima when it crashed into the building at 4605 North Lee Highway. Rutledge and passenger Francis Swafford were taken to SkyRidge Medical Center, police spokeswoman Evie West said.

No one else was injured.

The vehicle had minor damage, West said. The amount of property damage at the store was not immediately known.
