Radio host visits Nashville to back Joe Carr over Lamar Alexander in GOP primary

NASHVILLE — Conservative radio show host Laura Ingraham visited Nashville to endorse Joe Carr over U.S. Sen. Lamar Alexander in the GOP primary.

She described Alexander these days as “kind of like an old sweater. He was really comfortable and sharp looking at one point but now it just takes up room in your drawer.”

She called Carr a street fighter.
