J.Ed. Marston, the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce's vice president of marketing and communications, is leaving to join EPB, where he will become vice president of marketing.

Marston has led marketing and communications for the Chamber since 2002 and will continue in his current position until Sept. 2.

"J.Ed. has been a major part of putting Chattanooga on the international map," said Ron Harr, the Chamber's chief executive. "His award-winning marketing and communications work has been a source of great strength for the Chamber. His passion for Chattanooga and for technology has served us well and it will serve EPB very well, too."

Marston said that telling the Chattanooga story "is easy because this community has been so successful in working together to make great things happen."

Harold DePriest, president and CEO of EPB, said Marston "has been very significant in the growth and revitalization of our community through his work at the Chattanooga Chamber."
