Jackson County burglary suspect in custody

The Jackson County, Ala., Sheriff's Office arrested one man on charges of burglary and are looking for another.

On Monday, the sheriff's office arrested Alexander Black Hicks, 21, from Pisgah, Ala., and charged him with burglary third-degree and criminal mischief first-degree, according to a news release.

The release said Hicks is a suspect in the burglary of a house on County Road 81 in Flat Rock, Ala. The burglar did approximately $34,000 worth of damage to the house, according to the news release.

Hicks is being held in the Jackson County Jail and his bond has not been set.

A suspect in a separate attempted burglary is still at large. Deputies are looking for Walter Lee Green, 23, of Bryant, Ala., on a charge of second-degree burglary.
