Officials: Man arrested after stopping traffic to stab himself in Morristown, TN

Authorities arrested a man who allegedly stopped traffic to stab himself Tuesday afternoon in Morristown, officials said.

Atinia Jacky, 21, of Morristown, was charged with reckless endangerment, impeding traffic, no drivers license and violation of the financial responsibility law, according to the Morristown Police Department.

Officials said that shortly after 7 p.m., Jacky stopped his vehicle at the intersection of Morris Boulevard and Alexander Johnson Highway, got on top of his car and stabbed himself in the stomach.
