Good deed: Kind stranger, honest waiter add blessings to diners' day

Kind stranger, honest waiter add blessings to diners' day

I am a certified nursing assistant, and my patient and I went to lunch after a recent doctor's appointment.

After lunch, our waiter, Rick, told us the elderly gentleman seated across from us had paid for our lunch. We appreciated Rick's honesty since we would not have known that our lunch was paid for. We wanted to thank the gentleman who bought our lunch, but he was gone by the time we learned of his good deed.

We met these two decent men in one day in Chattanooga, and we feel blessed knowing they exist.
