The University of Alabama board of trustees met Tuesday and approved several Alabama football coaches' contracts.
Among the news was a raise and an extension for head coach Nick Saban, who had his salary increased to $6.5 million per year with a $400,000 completion bonus. The length of the deal was extended from 2020 to Jan. 31, 2022.
Saban made $5.4 million last year.
Also of note, the board approved Lane' Kiffin's contract and the new Tide offensive coordinator will get $680,000 for the first two years and $714,000 for the third year.
