A McMinn County man is facing charges of aggravated burglary and kidnapping, after being accused of breaking into a woman's apartment and threatening her if she told police.

Athens Police say they were called to Starr Regional Medical Center, about a woman who was claiming she had been kidnapped and assaulted. Police say a man was causing a disturbance in the emergency room trying to get to her.

The victim claims 32-year old Graylon Ervin broke into the apartment she was staying, forced her into his Jeep, and held her against her will, on two separate occasions, over the weekend.
