STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. - Authorities say they've charged two men with murder in connection with a home invasion and shooting that left a 9-month-old baby dead and three people injured.
Police say a group of armed, masked men broke into a house in Stone Mountain on May 10 and the child, Kendarious Edwards, was shot to death. Police say the men chased the three women inside the home -- the baby's mother, grandmother and a family friend -- to a bathroom, where they opened fire.
Cedric Alexander, DeKalb County's public safety director, said at a Thursday news conference that two men are being held in the county jail on charges of murder and aggravated assault in connection with the killing.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that both men were already in jail on unrelated charges.
