POLK COUNTY, Tenn. - A Polk County man is recovering after being shot in the throat by his wife.
Polk County authorities report 49-year-old Tracy Lee Sherburn was having an argument with her husband, Richard Sherburn, when she shot him in the throat using a 16 gauge shotgun.
Sherburn was transported to Skyridge Medical Center and transported from there to Erlanger Medical Center where he underwent surgery for his injuries.
