Couple caught burglarizing miniwarehouse in Cleveland, TN

A man and women were caught burglarizing a miniwarehouse unit in the 2800 block of Waterlevel Highway in Cleveland, Tenn.

A patrol deputy checked the business about 11 p.m. Wednesday and observed a van backed up to one of the units. The couple attempted to escape upon seeing the patrol car.

Edward Allen Pitcock, 43, of Spearfish Lane got out of the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended. The female driver identified as Rhonda Pitcock, 41, of 15th Street was also placed into custody.

The suspects had taken a toolbox containing both power and hand tools and a battery charger. The items were later identified by the owner as property that was stored in the unit.

Both are charged with burglary and theft over $10,000 with bonds of $35,000 each.
