Meanwhile, Tennessee’s eight state park restaurants, including two outside Chattanooga, will serve Southern-style Father’s Day feasts.
“Our beautiful state parks are the perfect location to spend Father’s Day,” says Deputy Commissioner Brock Hill. “From hiking and fishing to golfing and boating, our parks offer a variety of activities to enjoy with the family after a great meal at the park restaurant.”
Cumberland Mountain State Park will feature sliced roast beef and gravy, Southern-fried chicken, slow-cooked pulled pork barbecue and smoked chicken on the menu at its Homestead Harvest Restaurant.
Fall Creek Falls State Park will have fried chicken, meatloaf, smoked barbecue ribs and Southern-fried catfish among its offerings in Gaul’s Gallery Restaurant.
Buffet service at both locations is from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. CDT. Cost is $14.95 for adults, half price for children 6-12. Beverages, tax and gratuity are not included.
