Authorities on Friday said a Michigan man who ran a stop sign in LaFollette was hauling about 24 pounds of marijuana butter and pot-infused candy to a LaFollette residence.

LaFollette Police Chief Jimmy Jeffries said officers stopped a white 1998 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer about 4:30 a.m. Friday. Jeffries said the driver ignored a stop sign at the intersection of South Indiana Avenue and East Beech Street.

The driver of the Blazer, Joseph Isabell, 37, of Flint, Mich., told officers his driver's license was suspended. Jeffries said a K-9 alerted on the Blazer, prompting a search.
