Huntsville Stars erupt in sixth, beat Chattanooga Lookouts 11-5

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The Huntsville Stars used a four-run sixth inning to beat the Chattanooga Lookouts 11-5 in Southern League baseball Thursday night.

Huntsville sent 10 batters to the plate in the sixth in breaking a 4-4 tie. Shawn Zarraga had an RBI double to left field and Hainley Statia a two-run double to left in the inning as the Stars clinched the series.

Chattanooga scored three runs in the third inning, highlighted by doubles from Darnell Sweeney and Scott Schebler and singles by Daniel Mayora and Chris O'Brien, to take a 3-2 lead. The Lookouts (26-42) stretched it to 4-2 in the fourth on a Noel Cuevas single to left that scored Casio Grider.

Game four of the five-game series is tonight at 7:30 EDT. Matt Shelton (2-1, 2.89 ERA) is the scheduled starting pitcher for the Lookouts, with Drew Gagnon (4-2, 2.78) scheduled for the Stars.
