A 53-year-old Stevenson man was arrested Tuesday and charged with attempted murder in a Sunday attack on another man with a machete, a news release from the Jackson County Sheriff's Office states.
Jeffrey Tyrone Walker, who surrendered at the Jackson County Jail, was arrested in the assault on Chris Gaylor, also of Stevenson, who remains hospitalized at Erlanger in Chattanooga with severe arm and leg wounds.
Bond has not yet been set for Walker.
