BlueStar Properties has finished a $700,000 facelift of the Apartments at the Grand in downtown Chattanooga's Southside. The building was known for many years as the Grand Hotel.

Marcus Lyons, a principal in BlueStar, said the apartment building at 1401 Market St. that's located nearly across the street from the Chattanooga Choo Choo has 36 one-bedroom units.

The units rent from about $700 to $1,100 a month, he said.
