The Red Fez Shrine Club will be serving up plates of barbecue for the 57th year on Sunday, June 22, in Soddy-Daisy.

Pork and beef plates will be available for on-site dining or carry-out. Club members have the system down to a science, with a drive-through line for carry-out orders so that diners don't even need to leave their vehicles to pick up their Sunday dinner.

Service is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Red Fez Club, 1503 Lee Pike. Dockings with attendants are available for those arriving by boat. The site is at Mile Marker 489.8 on Opossum Creek (take the first left after going under the bridge).

Cost of the meal is $8 (not tax-deductible). Ice cream, desserts and cold drinks are available for an additional charge.
