University of Tennessee at Chattanooga rising junior Emily McLellan was in the Tennessee Women's Amateur today at Cherokee Country Club.
McLennan defeated Vanderbilt senior Kendall Martindale 3 and 2 in the championship match to become the first UTC golfer to win the event.
McLennan's next tournament is the Western Women's Amateur in Lancaster, Penn.
Former Baylor School golfer Brooke Pancake shot an 11-over 81 in the second round of the U.S. Women's Open at Pinehurst No. and will likely miss the cut.
