A second person has been arrested in the killing of 20-year-old Abel Carmona in Dalton, Ga.

The Dalton Police Department arrested 20-year-old Marquis Dequan Tanner shortly before midnight Thursday on a murder warrant.

Investigators say Tanner was part of an apparent drug deal that went bad and led to the shooting death on Easterling Street Wednesday night.

Tanner, of 110 Mallory Drive in Dalton, was arrested after he showed up at the Cliffs apartments at 816 Shugart Road which he was known to frequent. Dalton officers were conducting surveillance on the location and conducted a traffic stop on a Nissan Pathfinder that matched the description of a vehicle in which Tanner was reportedly traveling.

Earlier Thursday, Dalton detectives arrested 16-year-old Endy Becerra and charged him with murder.

Tywon Henderson, of 1300 Autumn Court, is still at large and is wanted on a murder warrant.

Investigators have not yet said which of the suspects pulled the trigger.

Anyone with information on this incident or the whereabouts of Tywon Jay Henderson is asked to contact Detective Jason Bishop at 706-278-9085 extension 214.
