A Bartlett, TN police officer was one mother's hero on Thursday morning after he rescued her nine children from a storm drain.

Lt. Todd Halford was flagged down around 6:45 a.m. by a neighborhood watch captain, who was standing near a storm drain at Kirby Whitten Road and Yale Road.

A mother duck was also nearby crying for her nine ducklings, which had fallen into the drain.
