An early morning accident on Interstate 75 northbound in Bradley County, Tenn., has left a man hospitalized with serious injuries, a news release states.

Just before 2 a.m. Bradley County Emergency Services personnel responded to a report that an 18-wheeler had struck an SUV that had pulled to the roadside, according to the EMS release.

The SUV driver was not injured, but the semi-trailer was up ahead on its side in the woods and the driver trapped, the release states.
