Motorcycle Trials in Sequatchie

Friday, May 2, 2014

Some of the best riders in the country will be in Marion County this weekend for the NATC-National Trials.

The North American Trials Council hosts nationals all over the United States and will host its next event at the Trials Training Center, 300 Woodland Road in Sequatchie, Tenn., on Saturday and Sunday, June 28-29.

Motorcycle trials, also termed observed trials, are a nonspeed event on specialized motorcycles. Trial motorcycles are distinctive in that they are extremely lightweight, lack seating (they are designed to be ridden standing up) and have suspension travel that is short, relative to a motocross or enduro motorcycle.

Hours are 7 a.m.-7 p.m. CDT each day.

Tickets for spectators are $15, free for children 12 and younger.
