A 17-year-old male was shot while walking in Chattanooga this morning, according to a news release from the city police department.
The shooting reportedly happened around 12:50 a.m. at 4205 10th Avenue.
The teen was wounded in his right leg and taken to a hospital for treatment of the non-life threatening injury.
