Anniversary Gift

about Clay Bennett...

The son of a career army officer, Bennett led a nomadic life, attending ten different schools before graduating in 1980 from the University of North Alabama with degrees in Art and History. After brief stints as a staff artist at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and the Fayetteville (NC) Times, he went on to serve as the editorial cartoonist for the St. Petersburg Times (1981-1994) and The Christian Science Monitor (1997-2007), before joining the staff of the ...

Obama launches program to boost minority youth

"President Barack Obama boosted his outreach to boys and young men of color on Thursday as he launched My Brother’s Keeper, a public-private partnership focused on supporting of the country’s most vulnerable groups and one to which Obama once belonged."

Does Obama's racism know no bounds?

Obama never belonged to a "vulnerable" group as he was raised by his grandmother who was white as rice.

He launches a program called "brother's keeper" while he lets his own brother sweat it out in a hut somewhere in Africa.

Could you imagine the hysterics if Bush "launched" a program directed only at poor white kids?

You libbys just keep picking the corn out of it. Unbelievable.

Palin on Ukraine: I told you so

"In 2008, when she was the GOP vice presidential nominee, Palin questioned in a speech whether then-Sen. Barack Obama would have the foreign policy credentials to handle a scenario in which Russian President Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine."

"After the Russian army invaded the nation of Georgia, Senator Obama's reaction was one of indecision and moral equivalence – the kind of response that would only encourage Russia's Putin to invade Ukraine next," she said in Reno, Nevada on October 21, 2008.

If liberals are one thing, it's that they're predictable.

Nothing has "fizzled" out. TEA party protesters, unlike their liberal counterparts, have jobs, and must support their families with their jobs. Liberals have nothing better to do than to stand around all day bitching and whining about anything and everything.

All that matters is which lever they throw(or button they push) in the voting booth.

You libbys should be encouraged on how the occupy movement has held together as a strong, cohesive force for so long.

It's funny...

The hard left characterizes the TP as "fringe" and "insignificant" and a "tiny minority of nuts",but they are so scared of the ideas that they represent that libs spend every waking moment obsessing over their every move. The REAL reason that Clay and others hate the TP'ers is that they don't take marching orders from inside the beltway.Their movement is a "bottom up" revolution which scares the establishment (of both parties)to death because neither side can control it.

A happy anniversary indeed!

"Palin on Ukraine: I told you so"

She's a credible source on foreign policy. And remember she lives "close to the Ruskies" so she probably has more insight than most.

"Anyone who loves the idea of paying higher taxes has either lost their minds or are smoking crack."

And I supposed that's the Tea Party's only mission now; Taxes? That took a back seat to the Birther movement, religion, unions, and Benghazi. I rarely hear the TP even mentioning taxes any more. The majority of the TP, particularly here in the South, is more concerned with advancing religious beliefs than they are about paying less taxes. I'm convinced that if Obama came out and said "we are going to increase income taxes 5% and make Christianity the national religion", he'd become a TP darling for most.

The Teabag Party has never risen to their true potential, simply because they don't play to their strengths. They need to hold their own convention and make their choice a full year ahead of the other parties. They aren't really given to extended, thoughtful decision making, so they ought to just throw one up the flagpole and all start saluting! Next, they have got to draw bigger crowds at their rallies! Where are the inflatable bounce rooms? Where is the flea market atmosphere they all grew up in? Where is the smell of cotton candy and fried chunks of pig? Where is the "Don't Tread On Me" rattlesnake mascot? Where, for heaven's sake, is Gospelpalooza ?!? They wouldn't even need a first aid tent, as they could just lay hands on each other and let the healing begin!

Obama has been stonewalled by the GOP since he got into office, criticized for doing things all presidents do, most MORE than he has. He has been blamed for everything, even things that started before he got into office and things that a president has no control over, like gas prices. Military spending cuts? Cheney was for a 25% cut in the 90's. Cheney is all over this one as a bad thing. (It isn't a huge cut in personnel-522k to 450k) Obama is bashed because of excessive spending, but when he tries to do anything about it is criticized for that too. From birthers to conspiracy theorists, Obama is a muslim, atheist, fascist, communist, socialist, antichrist that will being about the second coming.

Conservatives wonder why their criticism of the president is often ignored, while allowing people Nugent to speak for them. (Yeah, Nugent is still a mouthpiece for some GOP hopefuls in 2016) I think he has made a lot of mistakes, but no president has EVER experienced the opposition, lies and resistance that this president has. I blame the internet (I used to be convinced it was racial, but I have changed my mind; for most people it isn't) Thanks to the internet, any crazy idea can gain ground and supporters, and the vast majority of Americans can't tell $hit from shinola, have no idea how to fact check, and don't understand that opinions are not equal.

The Teabag Party has never risen to their true potential, simply because they don't play to their strengths.

I know what you mean ... They should have camp out in public parks while turning them into toxic waste dumps, raping their fellow activists, never producing a coherent political organization that resulted in the election of one of their adherents, and turning the nearest police car into a restroom by sh!ting on the side of it.

If they had done that then they would still be an effective political force .... Right?

Hasta la vista, Teabaggers

Tea party ready for fight with GOP establishment by Associated Press

From NYT:

Insurgent conservatives seeking to pull the Republican Party to the right raised more money last year than the groups controlled by the party establishment, whose bulging bank accounts and ties to major donors have been their most potent advantage in the running struggle over the party’s future, according to new campaign disclosures and interviews with officials.

FEC filings show Tea Party groups and conservative SuperPACs raised about three times more money than the Republican establishment SuperPACs did in 2013.

PlainTruth seems to be a traitor in his heart. It seems like PlainTruth would like to see bloodshed and war if it were detrimental to the sitting President. Can we all say a prayer that we don't get involved in another war, and that PlainTruth discovers some tattered vestige of patriotism in his venom-polluted heart?

The GOP and Democrat Party fear the Tea Party ,and anyone, actually, who calls them out for their cowardice, dishonesty, and lack of accountability. The Tea Party is not a party, it's composed of people who value freedom, respect the Constitution and demand accountability. If they back some one who says they'll uphold all of that, then that person doesn't, then they won't back them again. How many times have Democrat and Republican voters elected out and out crooks, liars and morons to office? More than anyone can count. They stay in office for decades and get wealthy, and gain power. That goes for both parties.

You libs are bewildered by Ted Cruz because he trashes Republicans and Democrats alike. That's the way it should be if someone is doing a $hitty job.

By the way, it seems that BO skipped out on a national security meeting dealing with the Ukraine. I wonder what was more important, watching hoops, or stepping out back to puff on some weed?

Real greedy, huh. Then Soros, Obama's money bags, gives 50 million to 4 charities and not 50 each(combined) Avoid deforestation, Millennium promise, Millennium villages, UN millennium Project

It looks like the Koch brother aren't as greedy as the very liberal Soros.
