JACKSON, Tenn. — Former Madison County sheriff David Woolfork is scheduled to be in court today, weather permitting, to face charges of attempted sexual battery and domestic assault involving a woman who worked for him.
Woolfork has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The Jackson Sun is reporting that Woolfork's hearing was moved to Tuesday because of inclement weather.
Woolfork will have an opportunity to change his plea or enter a plea agreement at the hearing.
Woolfork retired from the sheriff's office last month embroiled in scandal and facing ouster from office after an independent investigator determined that he sexually harassed two women in his department.
