Fletcher Bright opens new office

Fletcher Bright Realty is opening an updated residential office in its Market Court building located at 537 Market Street in downtown Chattanooga.

John Martin, Fletcher Bright Realty's broker said the new office "will seamlessly mesh with the shift that is taking place in residential real estate office practices and will provide our agents with a more modern, efficient workspace." Martin said the firm is actively seeking new agents to expand their company as the housing market rebounds.

Founded in 1927, Fletcher Bright Realty is one of Chattanooga's oldest residential and commercial real estate firms.

Volkswagen considers U.S. pickup

Volkswagen is again tossing around the idea of a pickup truck for the U.S. market, according to USA Today.

Michael Horn, chief executive for Volkswagen of America, said in an interview with Autoblog at the Geneva Motor Show that the brand's executives are starting to "discuss it again and whether it's attractive for us."

VW sells a small pickup called the Amarok around the world, but not in the U.S. It's often sold through the commercial trucks side of the business, and it revealed a new concept version last May.
